Bioclipse is a free, open code program which is very convenient for teachers and scientific investigators. It`s aim is to allow the user to specially edit proteins and molecules in chains. The program, thanks to the Internet, is continually connected to updated databases from which it downloads all types of information on molecules, chains, proteins, spectrums, etc.
Among the main features of Bioclipse you can: export and import in different formats, edit molecular structures in 2D, edit and view chains (DNA, RNA, proteins, etc), create graphs of diverse types of chains, view the chemical properties, connect to external programs like PyMol, etc.
